Bios:
Ally Bosch – AgIntel Researcher, AdFarmAlly Bosch is an AgIntel Researcher at AdFarm, where she combines scientific rigour with farmer-first insights to support strategic decision-making. With a Bachelor of Science in Botany from the University of Calgary and research experience in plant and forage ecophysiology at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, she brings expertise in plant physiology, taxonomy, and biotechnology. Ally plays a key role in AdFarm’s Farm Voice panel, translating grower perspectives into meaningful trends and actionable intelligence. Her background in research and science communication ensures complex agronomic data is made clear, relevant, and impactful for clients across the ag industry.
Bryce McKenzie – Director of StrategyBryce McKenzie is a strategic advisor with deep roots in Canadian agriculture and over a decade of experience helping agri-businesses drive meaningful change. Raised on a mixed farm in Southern Alberta, he brings practical insight to his role as Director of Strategy at AdFarm, where he develops integrated marketing and communications plans that support sustainability, stewardship, and innovation. Bryce’s collaborative, data-informed approach has helped leading agri-food organizations strengthen producer relationships and advance on-farm best practices. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Canadian Agri-Food Marketers Alliance and the Calgary Stampede International Agriculture and Agri-Food Committee, contributing to national agricultural progress.
Dr. Richard Lamar is the Senior Director of R&D at Huma, Inc. in Gilbert, AZ. He has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Miami, a M.S. in Forestry from Mississippi State University, and a Ph.D. in Forest Soils from North Carolina State University, with minors in Chemistry, and Plant Physiology. He has many years of experience as a scientist, and 40 years’research experience in humic science. As a Research Director for the EarthFax Development Corporation from 1996 – 2013, Dr. Lamar began offering humic substances (HS) testing to the humate industry and in 2014 published, in collaboration with Dr. Dan Olk, Dr. Paul Bloom and Mr. Lawrence Mayew, a standardized method for the quantitation of humic and fulvic acids, which formed the basis of the current ISO method, In 2013, Dr. Lamar joined Horizon Ag as a research chemist where he focused on elucidating the humic chemistries that elicit the HS biostimulant response in plants.
Tannis has been working with humic substances since 2017 in a quality control laboratory role. She holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Alberta and is interested in the science behind humic acid and its role in enhancing soil and plant health. Recently, she has been working on how humic acid interacts with alginic acid and the implications of that interaction in the field and in the laboratory.

Asha Hingorani is based out of Ottawa, Canada, is the President of the Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss Association. She’s held the position since 2021. Through the CSPMA, Ms. Hingorani represents Canadian peat producers responsible for approximately 90% of the yearly extracted peat, most of it used to supply the North American market. Ms. Hingorani also sits on the Board of the International Peatland Society. Prior to joining the Peat industry, Ms. Hingorani has had a career in the Canadian wine industry, journalism, government, and industry relations, and has worked for members of the Canadian Parliament in legislative affairs. 
Dr. Yelena Kann is an innovative polymer scientist with over 28 years of industrial experience in plastics stabilization, bio-degradation and processing. After working on biobased-biodegradable Poly(hydroxy alkanoate) (PHA) technology at Metabolix, sustainable e-paper technologies at EInk, advanced materials at Sabic, photonic polymeric materials at OmniGuide and automotive plastics at Lynn Plastics, she continued innovating by founding two startups focusing on plastic pollution, recycling and sustainability.
